Strategi Pendidikan Agama Kristen dalam Masyarakat Multikultural

Abstract

A multicultural society is a collection of people who have different cultures. Sometimes differences trigger conflicts somewhere. So that Christian Religious Education is here to minimize the conflict. Christian Religious Education is education that is centered on the person of Jesus Christ and the Word of God or the Bible is the basic reference for learning. To achieve research results regarding Christian Religious Education strategies in multicultural societies, the author uses a descriptive qualitative approach by conducting literature studies. The aim of this research is to describe the strategy of Christian Religious Education in a multicultural society. The results of the research found that the strategy for Christian Religious Education in a multicultural society is first, to take an approach by paying attention to the content and objectives of teaching. Second, teach contextually, meaning understanding the cultural background of students. Third, apply love in teaching.
